What Is Sublimation Printing?

Sublimation printing is a high-quality printing method used mainly for sportswear, team uniforms, activewear, gym wear, cycling apparel, and custom fashion garments. In this process, special inks are transferred directly into the fabric using heat and pressure instead of sitting on top of the material like normal screen printing or stickers.

The design becomes part of the fabric itself, which means the print does not crack, peel, fade, or feel heavy on the garment.

How Sublimation Printing Works

1. The artwork or design is first printed on special sublimation transfer paper using sublimation inks.
2. The printed paper is placed onto polyester fabric.
3. Using a heat press machine, high temperature and pressure transfer the ink into gas form.
4. The ink permanently bonds inside the fabric fibers.

This creates vibrant, permanent, and long-lasting colors with a smooth professional finish.
